Amanda J Landrum Halifax Virginia

I am researching the John C Rice family.My gggrandfather, John C Rice married a Amanda J Landrum (born 1823) in Halifax county VA on May 6 1843.They then moved to TN and several years later, to Callaway County Missouri.They had 7 children together before Amanda died somewhere between 1857 and 1860.We have been able to get some information on John's parents, but have absolutely no information on who Amanda's parents were.Any information we can get on Amanda would be highly appreciated.
