I have a record of a J. W. Langford [b. Dec 28, 1824 in Marion Co., Ky - d. Dec 6, 1911 in Marion Co., Ky] who married Dicie Prudie Gregory [b. Aug 15, 1823 in Marion Co., Ky - d. Jul 3, 1908 in Marion Co., Ky].They had a son Leroy Bannister Langford [b. July 20, 1848 in Marion Co., Ky. - d. Jul 12 1935 in Marion Co., Ky.] who married Nancy Viola Norris [b. Dec 13, 1854 in Davis Co., Ky. - d. Sep 28, 1935 in Marion Co., Ky] on Oct 10 1872 in Whitesville, Ky.They had a son James Camden Langford [b. Jul 8, 1879 in Lebanon, Ky].He migrated to Illinois on horseback (perhaps via Indiana) and settled in Chrisman, Il. where he died Jun 8, 1978.This is my great grandfather.Is it possible that this J. W. Langford is the same as your Joseph Walker Langford?
