Felix Langley/McDaniels, KY; Macoupin IL
Your Dad and his family lived at Sawyerville, IL for many years. Now a White house on corner of Rt 4 and Fisher Road. Letitia had a grondhog named Suzie that was hurt and she nursed to health, Suzie was a family pet for years. A friend & I used to visit them often, & would try and see Suzie.
Herman worked on the railroad and a couple times we would ride in the caboose to Edwardsville for a town picnic or other event.
I learned to put my long hair in a bun from Letitia, her hair was beautiful... super long.
Patrick was a nice guy, he took care of Finis and helped his Mom with the other kids & worked hard around the house to help his parents. Always a favorite with us..
Felix, your Dads' brother, was in Florida, and I think the others were also. Lost track of them.
Pearl Schweppe (The side I am researching) and her husband Ted, had a farm in Sawyerville. Pearl was Hermans' sister. I am tracing the family and have some of the info you are welcome to have whatever I find. There was a family reunion held at McDaniels every year or so, don't know if they still have them or not, but you might ask Clifton R. Burkhead, he is researching this line also.

I'm making a book for the area library on your family and can send you a copy when I get it researched and in order. I have pictures of Pearl, and can get some of Paul I think. Beulah was in Indiana after Pearl died. Pearl, Bessie and Beulah were all at the Gillespie Nursing Home in 1991. I think they have records there listing family members.
Hope this helps! Glad to see someone else working on this family... neat people!!
