I have a Nora Spain (1892-) in my line as well.
Nora was daughter of Joseph M. Spain and Ella (Ellen) Ryan.Nora was probably born in Souix City, Iowa and moved with family to Los Angeles area in California around the turn of the century.
If this is your Nora, I have a lot of info on the Ryan's from 1828 to present.
