Hi Bobbie,
I wanted to first answer your message on the forum so there will be a permanent record for other family members to see into the future.I will also contact you directly so we have each other's e-mail address, mailing addresses, etc. and can exchange more information.
WOW, you are saying is that there were Langners in Schuyler County before our Christian Langner. Is is possible that your Hickman Dale was a brother to Eliza Dale and Cassin Dale, his two wives who were sisters?
This is very exciting and opens an entirely new family branch.None of our family records have ever indicated that a sister to Christian already lived in the county.Maybe, just maybe this really means that Christian and Anse really came to America far earlier that we thought and came with Amelia Langner.
A few months ago, another Langner woman contacted me and was sure our families were related, but I could not make the connection. But, I was going on the assumption that Christian and Anse Langner were the ONLY ones that came to America.I will get her back into our conversations since I now know that other Langner emigrated.
I will re-read your message tomorrow and will need time to digest your message.I forwarded your message to Langner cousins Richard Dalton and Ron Parks as they are part of our research.
Thanks and I will be back in touch shortly,
Mike Leahy, Cincinnati, Ohio
