Langstaff Information pre-1620

By Jack Langstaff November 01, 2006 at 03:38:12

Hi, All! I am writing to find out information about the Langstaffs in England (pre-1620) and any ancestors from Ireland. (This is new to me!) As I understand it, Henry Langstaff was a seaman aboard Captain John Mason's expedition in approx. 1620. He had come from Yorkshire Eng. with Capt. Mason but details are sketchy. He had four sons, one of whom went to Canada and the others stayed in the States. He died of a fall at the age of 106. Any more information or book references would be greatly appreciated. I just stumbled on this message board, by the way.
Thanks,Jack
