Joseph E. Langstaff of 237 Stevens street, a well known resident of this city, died suddenly Saturday at his summer home in Willow Dale road, Tyngsboro.Mr. Langstaff had been engaged in the wholesale paper business in this city for more than 25 years.He was a member of the First United Baptist church, Pentucket Lodge, A. F. & A. M., and the Lowell Sportsman's club.He leaves his wife, Mrs. Annie M. Langstaff;a sister, Mrs. Jack Warren of North Agusta, Canada;two brothers, Stanley Langstaff of Kemptville, Ont, and Stanage Langstaff of Prescott, Canada;also several nieces and nephews.The body was removed to his home by Funeral Director Hiram C. Brown.
