Re: Laportes in Nebraska
Then Hello Cousin!Your information is 100% accurate, I just compared it with our database. Each of those records has been independently confirmed from the primary sources, the parish registries in most cases.
I'm not sure how much more information you want about that line of descent. In order to receive a full extract (ged format) of these people with all that we have on them including the usual birth/marriage/date information plus the records for their siblings in each generation, you would have to join the Association. Unfortunately, (or fortunately I guess, if it was a brick wall!) you already have the complete bare bones line of descent which our Association provides to non-members.
Information on joining is on our web site and is pretty cheap!Membership also gets you our newsletter with ongoing information about the family.
Our web site will give you quite a bit of information without charge especially about the life of our common first ancestor in Canada, Jacques de la Porte dit St. Georges.
I would be very interested in receiving more about Virginia's descendants to add that information to our database if you would be willing to share.
