Jack/John LaRoy father

I am looking for information about John Joseph LaRoy (also known as Jack).His birthdate was May 5, 1887.His father was George and his mother Elizabeth.He records his birthplace as Billings, Montana in one place and Iowa in another.I know he has a step brother.He supposedly rode into Evansville, IN on horseback probably from the west.He married a Lillian Williams in 1910.This is about the only information that I have.I would appreciate any assistance.
