Same fellow! but perhaps I have wrong details. I have my William Alfred born Jul_Sep 1897 at West Derby Everton, son of James William Lawton and Ellen (Marks) Pulling, I also have this William Alfred as marrying Evelyn Forsyth. In the 1901 UK Census he was at: 13 Chantry St, Everton, Liverpool.

I have his father as James William Lawton from Mossley, Saddleworth, who was a Professional Singer and sojurner. His father in turn was William Alfred Lawton from Saddleworth.
