Hello Trish, thank you for enquiring about my 'list'. I have to be honest, I have just started to put this together over the last 3 weeks & at the moment it is not very big. So far I have found 82 'Lazzari's in England. My aim is to do a 'One name study' of all the Lazzari's & other spelling variants like Lazarie, Lazzaray, Lazzarey, Ladzie, Lazrie, Ladzarie, Ladzary & Gladzary (its on my g.grandmothers birth certificate) in the St. Catherine's House Index', & use the Censuses to try to piece together families in the North-East. So as you can see, it is going to take some time.

They are not all from the Newcastle area, about 10 are from other area's, mainly what I found in the IGI. The rest are from St. Andrew's R.C. Newcastle, Baptisms & the 1851, 1871, & 1881 census & I have managed to piece together 15families.

You asked about a Margaret & Joseph, well I have found a Joseph Henry born 1866 & a Joseph born 1879, both in Newcastle & their parents & siblings but unfortunatly there is no Margaret in either family. If you can give me some more detail like when they were born approx. I could have a look for you. Hope to hear from you soon,Kathy
