Re: British Lazzari's ?

I have got loads of stuff on the Lazzari's in the North-East of England, which is where I am from. Every Lazzari - Ladzrie in the Newcastle area is related to each other.

They all are the decendants of Paul Lazzari & Sarah Matley, they got married in Manchester Cathedral in 1800 then moved to Newcastle about 1810. They had 4 children that I know of, Elizabeth bt.1810, Alice bt.1812, Paul bt.1815 & Joseph bn.1817 all in Newcastle (I am decended from Josephs line) but in the census's & Parish records I have also found a Mary Ann bn.1801, a Ann bn.1805 & John bn.1807 all who have connections with Paul & Sarah's family. I do not know where Paul is from or who his parents were.

There was also a Angelo & Alice who had a son Mathaeus bt.1805 in Westmoreland & a daughter Alice bt. 1807 in Newcastle, then another son Mathew bt.1811 Newcastle but I have not been able to find them after that.

At the moment I am, with the help of my mother doing a One-Name search from the old St. Catherine's House Indexes & we have also done some Marriages, Baptisms from the R.C registers & some Census's & have compiled quite a large database of Names, Addresses, Birth dates, Baptism dates & marriage dates. I have been in touch with Rosemary Martin in Ireland, Josephine Lazzari in Liverpool, Sally Lazzari in London, Raymond Lidgate in Stockton on Tees & Tobi Lazzari in France. Most of the people that are interested in the Family Tree seemed to be from David Lazzari & Sarah Symington's line, it will be interesting to find out which line you are from.
