Hi Helen
Great to hear from you. You are the second successful contact I have made on Genform. Found a long lost cousin a few years ago. Thanks for the additional information about our Harriet's family. I only recently discovered that my
Great Grandfather's third wife was Harriet Leaf of Howden. I am a direct descendent of his first wife, Harriet Cooper of Wetwang. The same day I got your message I received two certificates in the mail. They confirm that Harriet #2 was the mother of Rhoda Monkman born May 12, 1882 in Bradford
and my Grandfather's youngest half sister. There are at least two others. Know nothing about Rhoda. Harriet #2 died Dec. 28, 1904 in Bfd age 60.I might have a photo of her. She worked in Bradford in 1871 as a domestic. Only possible marriage (in Bfd) I have found is one in 2nd Q of 1888. Interesting if true.May order certificate. There is another marriage in Leeds in 1892 (R.M.= H.L.). A second Harriet Leaf was born in Hutton Cranswick at the same time. Are you a direct descendent of Harriet's parents?
