Someone else wrote to me through Quebec Genweb about same marriage. So far no luck but I have some Information on descendants.
This couple was resilient!
Joseph Turcot/Turcotte was the son of Jean Baptiste and Emelie Renaud. He
first married Flore Clement, the daughter of Joseph Clement and Rosalie
Legris. They married August 26, 1872 at St. Clothilde.I find no male
issue of the couple in future marriages in Arthabaska County.
Joseph Turcot/Turcotte then married Louise Lemay on March 4, 1878 at
Arthabaska. She was the daughter of Jean Baptiste Lemay and Therese
Castonguay (Guay for some branches). Also, I find no male issue in future
marriages of this couple.
The third marriage of Joseph Turcot/Turcotte was to your inquired, Josephine
Lambert. She was the widow of Treffle Desruisseaux (I would check
Houde/Houle if interested in this).I see recorded in the register that
Treffle was the son of Telesphore Desruisseaux and Caroline Leclerc and that
Josephine Lambert was the daughter of Honore Lambert and Nathalie Leclerc.
Again no male issue found in this register.
I do find three brothers of Josephine. If you would like to know about those
marriages please write back and change the subject to "Send Brothers
Lambert"LOL!
I do not see the marriage for the Lambert Parents. If you might know where
they came from I have other registers. The same is true of the
Turcot/Turcotte parents.
I find no other children for the Turcot/Turcotte parents.
