Re: Lee DNA Genealogy Project Update

Hi, I am writing a new Lea book and want very much to discuss the Lea findings in Ancestry and in FTDNA.It is impossible for me to tell which line is which because people write down the earliest known ancestor without proof of that line. For instance there are three men named James Lea that are very confused. One FTDNA participant wrote listed John Lea married to Ann Carter as that ancestor.There is no proof which line that beings to because they have been badly tangled.I am untangling.DNA is our answer but we need absolute proof of the earliest ancestor .. And not from a book.In fact, the only book to be trusted is Ben Rose's.
