We in the Henry Lee Society are working hard to deal with the loss of Genealogy.com and Myfamily.com, among the other factions that Ancestry will be abandoning.

Soon to be available:A family tree function, similar to Family Tree or any of the other home genealogy packages, but free, and hosted on the HLS website (www.henryleesociety.com).Also, a Forum function, similar to the one at Genealogy.com or the myfamily.com offerings.Both will be available to members of the HLS only.

Also coming on the HLS website:A file depository - a place to put research, pictures, scans, whatever.Again, this will be available to members only.

So, Join!It's cheap ($25 a year), and makes you part of THE inclusive Lee/Lea/Leigh genealogy research society. Go to the Becoming a Member section on the website.

Also, I personally recommend that you go through the Lee Genforum and copy any posts that have information that interests you.Starting in September - that info will be gone.
