There is a man in Europe, Switzerland I think, that has researched the Leitzinger family back 500 years. His name is Antero. "Antero Leitzinger : http://www.clinet.fi/~zinger/familyhttp://www.clinet.fi/~zinger/family
The internationally extremely widespread families LEUZINGER, LEUTZINGER, LEITZINGER and LUTZIGER - even spellings like LUTZINGER, LEIZINGER and LIGHTSINGER exist - are all descended from a common ancestor, Johannes Leuzinger of Netstal (Glarus, Switzerland), 500 years ago. Due to massive emigration, descendants are now found at least in Switzerland, Austria, Germany, France, Italy, Netherlands, UK, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Lithuania, Russia, Canada, USA, Brazil and Australia... Antero Leitzinger. Comment : according to "Familiennamenbuch" Leuzinger are old (i.e. prior to 1800) citizens of Glarus, Mühlehorn, Netstal (Glarus) as well as Bronschhofen (St.Gallen)."Anyway, that used to be the link to the family tree web site, but I think he may have taken it down because not enough people were interested in it. If you can find his e-mail though, he may help.Hope this is useful.
Is Francis the brother of Ken Leitzinger?
