I have been tracing my genealogy.At first I learned that Oshier (my surname) had been changed to Auger when my great grandparents came to the US - NewYork.I thought I had run into a brickwall when I was e-mailed and told by the nephew of a professonal genealogist that the surname was originally Lemaitre-Auger.After a couple of hundred years the Lemaitre was dropped and the surname was onlyAuger.If you have anything more.Please write!
