I am researching Mary Leroy Rives(1847-1879) and trying to determine origin of middle name Leroy.She was daughter of Thomas W. Rives (b. 1815, VA) and Martha L. Houston.Thomas and Martha were married 29 May 1843 in Marshall county, Mississippi.Do you know this Leroy family?Thanks.
