Looking for Northern KY LeVans

Specifcally looking for information on my biological grandfather Austin LeVan (1915?-1976)First wife was Mary Jane Griswold (1916-1981); children Hope b1939, Wayne b1940, and Neil b1942 all now deceased.My understanding from now elderly or deceased relatives of Mary is that Austin was a violent man and family had to remove Mary and the children from the house and the divorce may have occurred in 1943 or 1944.

I know Austin's mother was named Mayme, and he had several brothers (Harvey and Lawrence are the only two names I know).

Anyone with information that can help me piece together parts of my past that my father could not, I would greatly appreciate your help.
