I wish I could help you, but I am trying to confirm whether or not I have a LeVan connection in the Grundy, Marion, Sequatchie, Bledsoe areas. My G-Grandmother on my father's side was named Virginia Tennessee (Tennie) ?.I have reports of my grandfather (Marshall Henry Summers) having an Uncle John LeVan from around the Whitwell/Palmer area. This leads me to believe that Tennie's maiden name was Levan.Wish you more luck than me.
