For my children, I am looking for all of the data of their ancestors LINARES of Spain. There is a family history that a trademan Jose Vicente LINARES NN came over from Spain to Venezuela around 1820 to make business, later also in Colombia, in Bucaramanga, Dept. of Santander, where his son was born. His son was Estéban LINARES NN, trader like his father. Later Estéban moved to Zapatoca, Santander, Colombia, where his wife was from, Doña Matilde SERRANO RUEDA. Don Estéban and his wife had 5 children, Clementina, Isabel, Luisa Matilde, Juan and Francisco. Don Franciso was born in 1902 in Zapatoca, he is the great-grandfather of my children.
Unfortunately, we do not have any more data or dates than the above mentioned ones. So we'd like to want to know more about the LINARES of Spain in general as well as about Jose Vicente and Estéban and their parents and grandparents in particular, and from where they really came. Perhaps somebody has a ídea and informations? Thank you very much in advance!
