seeking Lister family info

My name is Phil Lister. My Dad was Leonard C. and his father was Nicholas Lister. Does anyone have any info as to my family? I know that my grandfather Nicholas, was in the navy during WW1. He was also a boxer and Atlantic Fleet heavy weight champ at one time.

It seems that most of my family comes from the Eastern Shore of Maryland and that there's plenty of them there yet.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.
