Hi Patricia I have only just found your message and see that you had no follow ups. On the Bishops Transcript of Dearham for your William Lister & Elizabeth Brough it says William is from the Parish of Crosscanonby which is about 4 miles from Dearham . I have not been able to find anything further on him. However my G Grandmother was a Lister and there are a lot of them in the area mostly from Great & Little Broughton. They worked as either farm labourers or coal miners and so moved around where ever there was work.I have got back as far as a George Lister born 1719 but can't find anything further.Sorry but your side are not on my tree.
