Arnold, Holland to Maryland, ca. 1703
I am not researching this family, just entering information from one of my books "Pioneers of Old Monocacy" by Tracey & Dern:
"Arnold Livers, a native of Holland, no doubt came to America because of his Catholic religion. He had arrived in Maryland before 1703, when he was a witness to the will of Benjamin Haddock of Prince George's County, and on April 29, 1704 he was naturalized. In 1711 he was buying land from Colonel Henry Darnall. His further land activities in northern Frederick County were most extensive."
There is further information on this family in this book, which can probably be purchased from the library of the Frederick County Historical Society on Church Street. It is also available from the Genealogical Publishing Co., Baltimore, MD.
