Harmon Livesay was my "half first cousin"; his mother was my mother's half sister. His mother was Essie Roberts Livesay. His father was McKinley "Mack" Livesay. He was married to Helen Cridlin in 1943 (her father was a judge.)He m. Myrtle Clark in 1949.His last wife was Martha Kate Roberts who was also his cousin. (Martha Kate just died in the last few
months.)I never did see Harmon, but what little I have
heard about him, he must have been somewhat of a "free
spirit."I think he served in some branch of the armed
forces.I only know about the three wives, but there had to
be others, because his obituary spoke of children in Georgia:
Stewart Wayne Livesay, Fairburn Georgia; Gerald Livesay,
Marietta, Georgia; and Bonnie Gale Livesay, Fairburn,
Georgia. My mom said that when Harmon got out of the service, he came into New York, bought himself a motor-
cycle and rode it home to SW VA.I don't know who was
the mother of Mitchell Livesay.I would like to know
more about Harmon; in later generations, we are curious
about him.Maybe I should try to contact Mitchell, still
not too late for that.I have a picture of Harmon.
