Re: Native American-LOGAN, VA,NC,SC,KY,IL,KS
There is an Elizabeth Logan d.1835 buried in the Molly Alston Cemetery in Fairfield County, SC. The major surnames in the small cemetery are Brown, Alston, McKinstry and McDill. There is one Nancy McConnell 1850-1854 whose stone was recently discovered and restored. There is a Jane Elizabteth Tolafero and also a William Thompson Jan. 19, 1798 to Apr.9, 1830.
The Browns seem to descend from James Samuel Brown June 1740- March 14,1821. James was married to Jennett Jane Boyd Brown Dec. 6 1773- May 30, 1830. She is also buried here.
Some of these families came from the upper part of SC near the NC state line and may be related to your Browns and Logans. The Logan and Alston families are closely related in the Charleston, SC area. THere seems to be a relationship between the Fairfield Alstons and the Charleston, Waccamaw Neck and NC Alston families, but it's not well documented. SOme of the Fairfield Alstons were born on Johns Island in Charleston County.
