Carlo LOMELLINI was born about 1584 in Genoa Italy.He came to Mexico and wed Maria BENAVIDES.One of his sons was Lucas LOMELLINI who lived in Zacatecas, Mexico.It seems his wife was Josefa MASIAS de TORRES.One of their children was Pablo de LOMELLINI born 11 Feb 1658 in Nochistlan, Zacatecas.He moved to Ocotlan, Jalisco and wed Maria de ZAMORA on 27 Apr 1687.One of their sons was Salbador LOMELIN who was born about 1691 in Ocotlan, Jalisco.He wed Juana Maria HURTADO de MENDOZA and they had Juan Jph. LOMELIN on 29 Jul 1728 in the Hacienda de los Morales, Ocotlan, Jalisco.Juan Jph. LOMELIN wed Maria de la CRUZ, daughter of Andres de la CRUZ and Lucia Victoria de NAVARRO.Their son Nicolas Alexandro LOMELIN born in the early 1760's in Poncitlan(?),Jalisco wed 5 times to 4 women.Nicolas Alexandro wed #1 Anna Gertrus. Rosalia NAVARRO on 22 Feb 1781.His #2 wife was Ma. Yga. Franc. Lugarda OCHOA.His #3 wife was Maria Thereza de Jesus HURTADO, a widow. (Her first husband was Jose Manuel CURIEL, with whom she had numerous children.)He wed her twice, as the first marrige was deemed null and void. Nicolas Alexandro's last wife, #4 was Maria Antonia CHAVEZ.They wed 23 May 1811.All told, I have listed 17 children for this LOMELIN, my favorite.I would be interested in any other LOMELINS that come from these lines.The last children were born in the Atotonilco el Alto, Jalisco area and Ayo el Chico, Jalisco.
