Veronica and Jose,
I read your post and what caught my attention was that you mention some lomeli's in Guadalajar Mexico. My grandfather was raised there but my his father was not italian but french. My Grandfather informed me that although the lomeli last name has Italian back ground it also has decendents from France as well. It seems that the family had split to both countries. I know that there are more Lomeli's mainly in southern France hope this helps a little more. I've been trying to find more information about my great grandfather because he holds the key on our families last name but unfortunately my grandfather past away and never had the chance to give me more information. I also know that there were some Lomeli traders from France that came during the Mexican and French revolution. My grandfather told me that he was my great great grandfather. As for how we look we do have a tendency of being light skin and also colored eyed. Funny enough I was born with blond hair but eventually turned dark brown. Eyes definately hazel. Are any of you like that?
