Re: Long's in Fannin Co. Georgia
it's really good to hear from someone. Finding someone that is researching the same family is really exciting. I haven't been doing much in the last year or two. When I have had the time I've been working on some of my other family. I haven't done much with the Bridges except that when I did find out that she was a Bridges and not a Binges like the marrige records show, I found that her family is from Townes county. I've sort of got out of doing much with the Long's since I've come up on a deadend with Walter. Have you been to Fannin county? I went thru coming home from vacation back in 2002 and went to the cemetery where Drury, William and a bunch of others are buried. My dad was Hobert the son of Willie P, but went as Will, who was the oldest son of William and lexie. I live in Lawrence county Tn. Where and how do you trace back on the family tree? Look forward to hearing from you.
