Re: John Long of Cecil County, Maryland

This John Long names sons Daniel and John in his Will. His wife's name was Sarah. Land on Broad Creek, Harford County were given to his son. It was named John's Delight, but was named for another family, not a John in the Long Family. This land was located on Broad Creek, which maybe under water today?

John Long was living just east of the Susquehanna River in Cecil County, Md. when he made his will in 1740. I'm not sure where his sons lived following his death? There is a lot of reference to a John Long, Sr. and a John Long, Jr. in Harford County during the later part of the 1700's.
