Re: Long VA>MO>AR>OK mid 1800s

I am looking in the Long family for a William Carroll Long that married Tempa Buck. I know there is Native American in there but not sure if it is the Long or the Buck family. They are from MO and Oklahoma. I know they even called themselves Black Dutch to avoid the reservation. I am having trouble going back before the mid 1800's wonder if they are connected to your family of Longs. William Carroll was born in Wayne Co Mo as far as I can tell.
Would appreciate any info on them being connected to your Long family.
