Re: William D. Albert Madison Long of TX
No, my ancestress is William D. A. M. Long's older sister, Izett Long. She was born 1780-1784 so was much older than her baby brother.Nevertheless, they seemed to be close and travel together and her daughters were close to him in age.He may have been practically raised with them when he was little and thought of his sister in a motherly way.At any rate, William seems to have named a daughter after her, Emma Izetta.Izett had a daughter named Isetta Elizabeth & another named Harriet Emeline and a granddaughter named Isetta Harriet Emeline. And a niece through William named Emma Isetta. And another niece named Izeet Y.I figure she must have been a very special aunt!
Actually, I think it possible that she had a different mother than William with the vast age difference between them.
I would love to know his descendants.I've been searching for a clue for a long time.
