Hi David!My Grant County gggf was Adam Long, b. in ENG to Alexander LONG of Limerick, IRE.He had property in Vernon/Bad Axe Co. in 1857, was in the Civil War mustered from Grant Co. and the family lived many years in Black River Falls, Jackson Co.Before WI they resided in Twinsburg, Summit Co., OH. The family was very close to the Allings. Who is your Grant Co. ancestor?Cheers, Donalyn
