Re: Long name changed from DeLong?

I don't see a connection, Heather, but that doesn't mean that there isn't one. I don't have that much information about my family but I did find out that they were from Clermont and Brown counties and not Ross as I previously thought. I have yet to find a connection from the DeLong name change but it was passed down information from my grandfather. I did find out that my grandfather (William Long)had the same name as his father and his grandfather's name was Elias. Elias' parents were born in NC but I have no information other than that. Thanks for your post and let me know if anything else grabs your attention.
