I wish that I could tell you more about him. I am not related to him.

The only thing I know about him is that he was collecting a Civil War pension in 1883 and living in Long Branch. The Longstreet name is prevalent throughout Monmouth County.

His pension records in the National Archives in DC should reveal information of a personal nature such as the name of his wife and minor children. Often these records will contain a copy of his death certificate and reveal his burial place.
