Deaths of Israel Loomis & Charles Loomis both Oct 1, 1825

Searching for information on the deaths of Israel Loomis born 1744 Colchester CT, married to Irene Chamberlian and Chrles Loomis born 1821 his grandson (parents were Dudley & Olive Loomis) who both died on Oct 1, 1825.

Something had to have happened, an accident of some sort, but I've not been able to locate any obituaries or newspaper accounting of their deaths.

This happened in Warren, Herkimer New York and they are both buried in Little Lakes Cemetery.
