Hi Alice,
This is who I thought I was looking for, it turns out that the Maria Rita Lopez (who is my direct ancestor) was baptized the same day as her double-first cousin Maria Cayetana Margarita (the one you mention). Maria Rita is the daughter of Jose Miguel Lopez (the brother of Jose Cayetano) and Maria Rita Gonzales (the sister of Maria Antonia Gonzales). Maria Rita married Jose Santiago Rodriguez circa 1800.

I figured all this out searching through the records after I posted the last message on this board.
