I am working on the Bridge Family genealogy and discovered that Emma E. Bridge, b. August 3, 1843 in Dexter, Penobscot Co., ME ; d. March 28, 1919 in Lowell, Middlesex Co., MA .She married George W. Lord on July 13, 1861 in Ripley, Somerset Co., ME .He was born May 1, 1839 in Ripley, Somerset Co., ME and d. Dec. 12, 1911 in Lowell, Middlesex Co., MA.
Their son George Ivory Lord was born June 4, 1862 in Dexter ME.He is listed in the 1880 US Census with his parents.He is listed with his wife in 1900 US Census; and he provided information for his mother's death certificate in March 1919, so George must have died after that date.
He married Mary A. Borthwick on Feb. 2, 1886 in Lowell, MA.She was born in March 1862 in England and was the daughter of James Borthwick and Kate (Mary) McFarlin, both reportedly born in Scotland.She died Nov. 22, 1911 in Lowell, MA
George W. Lord (1839-1911) is member of this family.
Aaron Lord (abt. 1811-abt 1871) married Ruth Hooper in 1834.She was born in 1810.
