What I mean is that I might be able to figure it out by comparing autosomal. The chances of me matching up to any Lott descendant are so, so very slim that if I did it would be shocking.I wold have to match up to them within 6-7 generations back, after checking over trees to be sure that someone else in my lines hasn't drifted off that direction. But I pretty much have everyone I am away of accounted for coming forward.Since the only family members to have been from that area were "friends" with Thomas PC Lott and Robert W Lott, that's what makes it possible in the first place.Unfortunately, I don't have a male to compare it with. The child that is possible from a union with a Lott brother was female.
I'm not saying the autosomal will give the answers directly, I just mean that since the outright chances are nearly nil, any match that can't be explained otherwise makes it possible.Especially if I am able to compare the chromosomes themselves :)
