I know that my gggrandfather was J.J. Adams (b.11 Nov,1838 d. Dec 13, 1904.) He was married to Sarah B. (B. 18 Feb 1844 d. 17 Sep 1899).Buried by them is a son James Robert Adams (1865-1942)married to Vertie B. Adams (1868-1963) and Addie E. Millen (their daughter b. 6 Oct, 1877 d. 19 Dec 1944), married to my ggrandfather Calvin Edmonds Millen, Sr. (b. 12 May, 1872 --courthouse has 5 Nov, 1872-- d. 15 Dec, 1936).I have been to the cemetary with my grandfather Calvin Edmonds Millen Jr (b.7 apr 1903 d. 18 Feb 1980) and with my father Karl Stuart Millen. The dates and names are from their headstones and court house records in Elkton, Ky and my grandfathers death certificate.I was just at the cemetary about a month ago and verified the names and dates. My sister also has coin silver spoons that came from my Sarah Adams through my grandfather--the spoons are monogramed. My great uncle Ernest Edward Millen's granddaughter has a family bible, I've trying to reach her to see what info it may contain. In 1992 I was home in Ky and my Dad took us to Elkton we searched around the county area he believed the family farm was located (don't know which family member it was nor do I know if relatives still have it), but it has a family cemetary on it and ancestors of ours are buried there.I just don't remember who--possibly J.J or Sarah's parents.
