I say again a Worshipful Master of a home lodge can not be a substitute for a Grand Master of the Grand Lodge, if needed a Past Grand Master would have stepped in.
Now a home lodge makes welcome all Grand Officers with a big to-do and if a Past Grand Master is back home in his lodge he can be a Worshipful Master again if he want's to are if he's needed.
Now Francis was a "Vice Grand Master" and that was good but was not what you think, for a year he only visited other lodge's near home and gave instruction on lodge business are was like a teacher if you will.
We are and have been a part of Grand Lodge for years in Mason and Eastern Star as well as other lodges and chapters.
Any way I hope this was of some help in understanding a little I know if your not a part of it, it's hard but just believe me why would I not tell you true.
