Although my Lucas family, as far as I know, came from Ohio (Nathaniel Lucas b.Abt 1825 OH) to Kentucky & then Missouri, I looked up your George Lucas in the online Missouri Death Certificates database & found the following indexed: George N. Lucas; DOD October 21, 1913; County: Grundy; Cert#32701.You can open the image to view it, & the name is misindexed as the cert, in cursive, is written "George W. Lucas", d.21 Oct 1913 Trenton, Grundy, MO, & lists the father as James Lucas & unknown mother.You can search the database yourself at http://www.sos.mo.gov/archives/resources/deathcertificates/http://www.sos.mo.gov/archives/resources/deathcertificates/.You can also query this info for multiple state's similar databases through www.familysearch.org, under Search Records click on the Record Search Pilot.You can do a broad or specific search...lots of documenation out there.
