I suggest getting his death certificate and obituary. They should list his parents and the obit may list siblings. Their marriage record may have data on parents too.

The 1900 census of Charleroi, Washington County, PA lists a George M. Lucas as the son William, born July 1851 and Anna, born Nov 1852. His death certificate, obit and marriage should help to confirm if this is the right George.
