Re: Harriet Looman born Dec. 1850 Ohio.

I am descended from Zacheus Luman, and my husband has done quite a bit of research on the Luman/Lewman/Looman families.He has in his database one Harriet Looman/Luman.She is listed as 8 years old in the 1860 census, page 795, for Covington, Kenton Co, KY.Her parents were also living in Covington, Kenton Co, KY, in the 1850 census, page 297.Her father was Joshua Looman/Luman (son of Reson) and was born abt 1800 in Allegany Co, MD.Her mother was Zenneta or Jennet Carr, born abt 1803 in KY.Joshua and Zenneta were married in 1841 in Lewis Co, KY.This Harriet had an older brother, Joshua, born abt 1848.Could this possibly be your Harriett?

Have you checked the 1910 Missouri census records for Harriet and Joseph Pruitt?Or the 1900 census records would probably have even more information.
