Re: Birth place of All LUNA's

Hi Winona! My Lunas are after the name change, Peter Grancer m. Mary Pitman, Peter Grancer m. Mary "Polly" Bonds and Malinda b. 1818 in Marshall CO. TN. m. Isaac L. Hammonds. Word passed down in family is that we are Cherokee but can not find anything on it. My dad and his family really looked native and my brother and I got the dark skin and hair. My granddad Crit Hammond said his ggg grandfather was Cherokee Chief---now who was it??? I have written many letters and no one knows. I am wondering if Malinda might not be Peters daughter, does anyone know anything about this? Regards, Gayle Hammond White
