Dear Joyce, I have read earlier messages that you posted. Although I don't have information on the specific Lunds you need, I'm wondering if our families are connected. I notice Stockhom, Maine is next to New Sweden, Maine and is part of the Swedish Colony est.1870. My family has Lunds and Landeen's, Lundeans, or Landean's in it. My ggrandfather was Elias Lund married 1. to Mary Pierson in Stockholm,Sweden prior to 1870 and 2. to Johanna Peterson m.1887 in New Sweden. Her mother's sister Annie was married to a Landean. They lived in New Sweden Maine. By his first wife,Elias had Annie m. a Lanfors, Elizabeth m.a Carlson, Charles d.without a marriage?, and Mary who m. Nelson McFee c.1890 (my great grand-
parents. My ggrandmother on my Anderson side was a Nelson. E-mail me if you'd like. I notice from the 1900 census that Elias Lund had a niece living with him named Teckla Lund. Evidently, he had a brother,but I'm not sure.
What is the Swedish Genealogical register you referred to in an earlier posting? Sure would like to hear from you. Thanks,Georgia
