The headstone on Walter Charles Evans reads 3-20-1871 12-30-1931 so if his death certificate says 1930 one of them has to be incorrect.Under the dates it says "Gone but not forgotten".Siladeth Evans just shows the years 1875 1909 and underneath says "Mother".The headstones sit up - aren't flat to the ground.Since their name was Evans, once again I assume EVENS is a typo - nor could I find any cemetery by that name. From the photos I have, I'm assuming they are in the same cemetery. Yes, Walter remarried Nellie and had a daughter Virginia (married Leland Coons who died this year - lives in AZ). It seems like most information about Walter Evans on the internet stops with him --- nothing current which I can get from my Mom if you want to carry out the Lutes/Evans further. Thanks for the information on the cemetery - that was more than I could find on my own. If I go to the Lutes reunion next month in Beattyville maybe someone will know where it's at.
