William and Jerusha Lyman

By Pam Eagleson April 13, 2006 at 01:33:30

I am looking for proof of the 1803 death date I have for Jerusha (Welles) Lyman wife of Gen/Hon. William Lyman (1755-1811) who was a U.S.Representative from Mass. in 1793 + 1797; was born in Northampton in 1755; graduated from Yale; during Shays' Rebellion was an aide to General Shepard; and died in 1811 in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire England while serving as US Consul at London.Although he was buried in the cathedral at Gloucester a monument was erected to his memory in the Old Cemetery in Northampton Mass. Was Jerusha buried there too? Thanks, Pam Eagleson
