Saw your post and something rang a bell. My father was William
Harry Lyman III born 5/16/1945 in Blue Island, Cook County IL. Died 11/1/1995 in Springfield, Delaware county PA.
His father William H. Lyman II was born in the same area of IL 12/24/1905 and died in June of 1967 in Springfield, PA. My father's family had moved from Blue Island, IL when he was 4, around 1949. I have been trying to track down the Lyman side for some time now without any luck. I remember my father mentioning Harry(Harold) Lyman, as this was his middle name.
